Children's
International Summer Village (CISV) is an independent, non-profit volunteer
organisation promoting peace education and cross-cultural friendship.

CISV Indonesia, a part of CISV, is a unique
exchange organization for children and youth that spreads globally to
promote peace and cross cultural friendship through many programs that
offer young people opportunities to meet with their peers from other
countries and build relationships that in the end may enhance their
empathy, social skills and education. CISV Indonesia also has many
local programs such as visiting Indonesian islands, orphanage, etc that
we design to enhance our youth's awareness to its local society and
environment.
CISV Indonesia currently has 2 chapters, both are
located in Jakarta, which are chapter
Cendrawasih and chapter Krakatau. If
